Miguel Hall, Room 311 - Rodriguez Room 4513 Manhattan College Pkwy., Bronx, NY 10471

A representative from the Office of Teacher Recruitment and Quality at the New York City Department of Education will be conducting an in-person information session to discuss NYCDOE public schools and the process for applying to teach in NYCDOE schools, on December 4th, 2013 330 - 5:30 pm.

The Office of Teacher Recruitment and Quality (NYCDOE) would like to ensure that you are aware of the employment opportunities for teachers for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year in our NYCDOE public schools. Please note that this past year, despite hiring restrictions, over 5,000 new teachers were hired across all subject areas and joined school communities across all five boroughs. For the 2014-2015 school year, the NYCDOE public schools anticipate the need to recruit teachers across all subject areas with an emphasis on special education, all the sciences, bilingual subjects and ESL.
